My name is Steph, and I am originally from the Netherlands but living life in rural Australia. I came to Australia in 2023 to travel and work, like many others do and have done so before me. Instead of going back home (like I had planned) however, I found love, built a little family, and now I am here to stay. And while missing my home country, I am on an active mission to find the wonders (mainly all these special bird species) on this side of the world, document them in words of my own and through my own eyes and then of course to share them with my loved ones back home (and honestly anyone who might just be interested). My life is so incredibly different from what I ever imagined it to be, in the best ways possible.
